HONOR X9e Pro

Dubai – October 19, 2026 -- The HONOR X9e Pro pairs an 11,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with a 3-metre marble drop rating, IP68, IP69 and IP69K protection, and a body about 8.08mm thin and roughly 203g.

HONOR frames the phone as the latest step in an X Series that has raised its durability bar with each generation. Two of those generations have also earned Guinness World Records titles.

X9a and X9b made the screen and frame tougher

The X9a used 0.65mm reinforced glass rated to withstand more than 900MPa of stress. HONOR tested it with marble drops, squeezing, rolling and steel-ball impact.

The X9b added 360-degree whole-device protection and drop resistance from up to 1.5 metres. It became the first smartphone in the industry to receive Switzerland's SGS Five-Star Overall Drop Resistance Certification.

Dubai – October 14, 2026 -- HONOR has announced the upcoming HONOR X9e Pro, the first Pro model in its X Series, with an 11,000mAh battery, 3-metre drop resistance, IP69K water protection and a 10,000-nit display.

The phone survives 3-metre drops and 10 metres underwater

HONOR says a new 360° shock-absorbing architecture protects against drops of up to 3 metres. The phone earned the SGS Premium Performance 5-Star rating for Drop Resistance in Harsh Scenarios, which covers complex terrains and low-angle drops.

IP69K protection lets it withstand submersion in water up to 10 metres and supports underwater photography. It also handles hot-water splashes of up to 85°C.

Kuala Lumpur – October 12, 2026 -- The HONOR X9e Pro goes on sale in Malaysia at RM1,899 for the 256GB model and RM2,399 for the 512GB version, with an 11,000mAh battery and a 3-metre drop rating. The launch follows an ASEAN Records recognition for the HONOR X9 Series as the top-selling mid-range smartphone series for three consecutive years.

The X9 Series hit a 77% peak share in Malaysia

ASEAN Records certified the achievement for the RM1,450–RM1,700 segment, covering February 2023 to March 2026. According to HONOR, the series reached a peak market share of 77% in February 2026, up from 56%. The run spans several generations, starting with the HONOR X9 in Malaysia in 2022 and continuing through the X9a, X9b, X9c and X9d.
