DUBAI – – October 29, 2026 -- The HONOR X9e Pro packs an 11,000mAh battery into a body about 8.08mm thin and 203g, so it handles like an everyday smartphone rather than a bulky rugged device.
The battery uses fourth-generation silicon-carbon cells
HONOR's fourth-generation silicon-carbon battery raises energy density to store more power in limited space. The company also redesigned the mainboard, display structure and mid-frame to make room for it. AI Power Saving manages consumption across reading, scrolling, video playback and background apps.
Charging runs at 80W with HONOR SuperCharge, and 27W wired reverse charging lets the phone power compatible devices.
Battery endurance is tested from -20°C to 50°C
HONOR says it tested endurance across navigation, video playback, calls, standby and photography. Testing at 50°C included sustained navigation and video playback, while low-temperature testing covered recording, photography and navigation.
Arch-shaped frame structures and PUR adhesive absorb impact
Arch-shaped structures around the corners and perimeter, plus high-strength metal reinforcement in the mid-frame, direct impact forces away from sensitive components. The display edges use PUR shear-resistant adhesive, which HONOR's internal testing puts at roughly 10 times the shear resistance of its conventional backing adhesive baseline.
HONOR says the phone survived drops of up to 3 meters onto smooth marble, and it holds SGS certification for drop resistance in harsh scenarios.
IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings come with sealed zones
The phone withstands hot splashes up to 85°C. HONOR's internal testing includes immersion up to 10 meters, 100,000 repeated immersion cycles and 24-hour salt-spray exposure.
Rather than one continuous barrier, the design uses compartments. The display and mid-frame form one sealed zone, and the mid-frame and back cover form another. The buttons, speaker, USB port and SIM tray each get dedicated protection, which limits how far moisture entering one opening can travel toward the mainboard.
A 10,000-nit display and 108MP camera target harsh conditions
The 6.8-inch display offers 2,788 × 1,280 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 10,000 nits, which HONOR calls the brightest in the industry.
The 108MP main camera combines a 1/1.67-inch sensor, an f/1.75 aperture and CIPA 6.0-level optical image stabilization to reduce blur in handheld night shots. Underwater color optimization compensates for blue and green color shifts.
The Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 Mobile Platform powers the phone.
