Dubai – November 04, 2026 -- The HONOR X9e Pro, the first Pro model in the HONOR X Series, is built to survive drops of up to three metres, aiming to spare owners the cost of a cracked screen.
A cracked screen costs more than the repair bill
Damage can affect display visibility, touch responsiveness and overall usability. For mid-range phones, screen replacement can account for a substantial share of the original purchase price. Owners then have to choose between paying for repairs, living with a damaged phone or buying a replacement.
Downtime adds a second cost
A broken phone can mean missed business calls, delayed replies to important messages and trouble opening work documents. Banking apps, digital payments, navigation and authentication codes also depend on a working device.
Repairs may require a service centre visit, a data backup and transfer, or a temporary second phone. If repairs drag on, borrowing or buying a stopgap device adds yet another expense.
The X9e Pro packs 360-degree shock absorption and IP69 protection
HONOR says the phone uses a 360-degree shock-absorbing architecture designed for different terrains and impact scenarios. It has earned the SGS Premium Performance 5-Star rating for drop resistance in harsh scenarios, including complex surfaces and low-angle drops.
Water protection comes from IP69 and 69K ratings, covering water immersion and powerful high-pressure water jets. The phone can also withstand hot water splashes of up to 85°C.
