Indianapolis – October 11, 2026 -- Travelers at Indianapolis International Airport (IND) can now verify their identity in under five seconds with CLEAR, which launched its airport services there today. The rollout adds CLEAR+ Lanes, automated eGates and a premium escort service called CLEAR Concierge.
eGates move CLEAR+ Members straight to physical screening
The new biometric eGates let CLEAR+ Members confirm who they are in under five seconds, then go directly to physical screening. CLEAR says this cuts wait times. IND is the company's newest market in the Midwest, and CLEAR is on track for a network-wide eGate rollout in 2026.
CLEAR Concierge escorts travelers from curb to gate
CLEAR Concierge also debuts at IND. The premium service gives travelers a personal escort from arrival, through security, to their gate. CLEAR describes it as designed for families, executives and frequent flyers.
CLEAR CEO Caryn Seidman Becker said the company is pairing the lanes and eGates with on-the-ground support, from Ambassadors to Concierge, to give Members a smoother travel day.
Airport officials call CLEAR another option for passengers
Mario Rodriguez, Executive Director of the Indianapolis Airport Authority, said CLEAR gives passengers another convenient and trusted way to move through the airport with greater speed and confidence. CLEAR also expects its expansion at IND to support regional growth and job creation.
CLEAR now serves 62 airports
CLEAR reports more than 8.2 million Active CLEAR+ Members at 62 airports. Across its secure identity platform, it counts more than 41 million Total CLEAR Members.
IND served more than 10.6 million business and leisure travelers in 2025.
