New York – October 11, 2026 -- US passport holders can now add a free, TSA-approved digital ID to Samsung Wallet and use it at more than 250 Transportation Security Administration checkpoints, leaving the physical ID in the bag. The feature, called Samsung ID with CLEAR, comes from a partnership between CLEAR and Samsung Electronics America.

How the digital ID works at the airport

Samsung ID with CLEAR is a digital ID backed by the information in your US passport and verified by CLEAR's secure identity platform. Travelers can present it at airport security with a simple tap or a QR scan. It is approved for domestic travel.

Miami – October 11, 2026 -- Travelers at Miami International Airport (MIA) can now book a personal concierge from curb to gate, starting at $99 for departures and $199 for arrivals, with no CLEAR+ membership required.

CLEAR (NYSE: YOU) launched Concierge Powered by CLEAR as an airport-wide service. CLEAR Concierge is available to CLEAR+ Members at 34 airports. MIA is the only one where it is open to all travelers.

The rollout adds CLEAR+ Lanes, automated eGates and a premium escort service called CLEAR Concierge.

eGates move CLEAR+ Members straight to physical screening

The new biometric eGates let CLEAR+ Members confirm who they are in under five seconds, then go directly to physical screening. CLEAR says this cuts wait times. IND is the company's newest market in the Midwest, and CLEAR is on track for a network-wide eGate rollout in 2026.

CLEAR Concierge escorts travelers from curb to gate

CLEAR Concierge also debuts at IND. The premium service gives travelers a personal escort from arrival, through security, to their gate. CLEAR describes it as designed for families, executives and frequent flyers.

The offer is tied to the X-Men '97 Season 2 premiere
