MONTEGO BAY – October 30, 2026 -- JOIA Rose Hall, Iberostar's adults-only, all-inclusive beachfront resort in Jamaica, welcomes guests again on December 1, 2026, after a full renovation that touches every suite and most public spaces.
All 295 suites get a redesign
The resort sits on Montego Bay's Rose Hall Corridor, about 10 miles from Sangster International Airport. Design firm El Equipo Creativo reworked the arrival areas, lobby, staircase, solarium, poolside terraces and beachfront spaces. The look draws on the golden age of travel, with local textures and vibrant patterns.
The 295 suites include Butler Suites, Swim-up Suites and Penthouse Suites. They now feature eclectic furnishings, locally inspired patterns and private terraces. Room service runs 24 hours a day.
Nine dining venues anchor the new experience
The resort has nine dining venues, five of them specialty restaurants, plus four bars. Oriole, the beachfront signature restaurant, serves Jamaican classics and Caribbean flavors. GAIA House of Grill focuses on premium cuts, and Chez Charlie offers a contemporary French brasserie menu. At Zázá, chef Erik Bruner-Yang brings Southeast Asian flavors with a Caribbean spin.
The Palm Tropical Lounge reinterprets the classic hotel bar, and the Rum Bar & Theatre adds a cultural angle to the drinks scene. Giacomo Giannotti leads the cocktail program. His Barcelona bar, Paradiso, is ranked among The World's 50 Best Bars. His botanical menu includes a signature cocktail built around sorrel.
A Pool Concierge handles rum cocktails and dominoes
A dedicated Pool Concierge will serve chilled rum cocktails and set up poolside dominoes and music-led experiences. The resort has four swimming pools, including an infinity pool suited to sunset views.
On the water, guests can go kayaking, catamaran sailing, snorkeling or windsurfing. On land, the resort offers:

Music curator Soledad Rodríguez designed tracks that set the ambiance across the property. Nightly entertainment features local artists performing music and dance.
General Manager Thomas van Balveren said the goal is for guests to "feel the spirit of Jamaica from the moment they arrive."
