JOIA Rose Hall Reopens in Jamaica on December 1 After Full Makeover

MONTEGO BAY – October 30, 2026 -- JOIA Rose Hall, Iberostar's adults-only, all-inclusive beachfront resort in Jamaica, welcomes guests again on December 1, 2026, after a full renovation that touches every suite and most public spaces.

All 295 suites get a redesign

The resort sits on Montego Bay's Rose Hall Corridor, about 10 miles from Sangster International Airport. Design firm El Equipo Creativo reworked the arrival areas, lobby, staircase, solarium, poolside terraces and beachfront spaces. The look draws on the golden age of travel, with local textures and vibrant patterns.

The 295 suites include Butler Suites, Swim-up Suites and Penthouse Suites. They now feature eclectic furnishings, locally inspired patterns and private terraces. Room service runs 24 hours a day.

Bring Your Scout Elf to the Caribbean: Beaches' 2026 Holiday Plans

Montego Bay – October 29, 2026 -- Families can take their Elf on the Shelf Scout Elf to the Caribbean this winter: Beaches Resorts runs Scout Elf-themed holiday programming at Beaches Turks and Caicos and Beaches Negril from November 27 through December 25, 2026. It is the fourth consecutive year the all-inclusive family resorts have carried the title of Official Caribbean Vacation of The Elf on the Shelf.

Weekly parties and movie nights fill the calendar

Both resorts host a weekly Sweet Island Soirée featuring The Elf on the Shelf, with music, dancing, sweet treats, festive crafts and Scout Elf surprises. Guests can also watch films from The Elf on the Shelf Santaverse collection under the stars each week, with popcorn and festive treats.

Scout Elf Central anchors the resort-wide activities. Other programming includes holiday scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, Christmas karaoke and Scout Elf storytime.
