Miami – September 22, 2026 -- Windstar Cruises has released its 2028 Europe season, offering travelers 348 itinerary combinations across five yachts sailing the Mediterranean and Northern Europe from March through October.
The lineup ranges from four-day getaways to a 53-day Grand Mediterranean Adventure running from Tenerife in the Canary Islands to Venice. Guests booking eligible newly released 2028 Europe voyages by October 31, 2026 can access an Early Booking Offer that includes a complimentary All-Inclusive package covering Wi-Fi, gratuities and select beer, wine and cocktails, plus $100 in shipboard credit per guest and up to 5% savings on fares paid in full at booking.
Star Explorer debuts with a new Irish port call
Windstar's newest yacht, Star Explorer, launches in December 2026 and will sail a Circumnavigating Ireland itinerary in 2028 with stops in Belfast, Londonderry, Killybegs, Galway, Dingle, Cork and Waterford. The route adds Inis Mór in Ireland's Aran Islands as a new Windstar port, alongside scenic cruising at the Cliffs of Moher and Waterford crystal and foraging tours.
Germany itineraries add canal transits and a festival sailing
Star Pride will run an expanded Germany program covering Hamburg, Berlin and Binz/Rügen. A four-day Quick Getaway sails from Copenhagen to Hamburg via the Kiel Canal and Elbe River, while a May 3 departure times arrival in Hamburg to the city's major maritime festival, including a boat parade and fireworks.
Mediterranean sailings return to the Adriatic and Greek Isles
The 342-guest Wind Surf returns to the Greek Isles, and Wind Spirit runs an extended Adriatic season of one-week voyages between Venice and Dubrovnik, with consecutive sailings combinable into two weeks without repeating ports. Stops include the smaller Croatian ports of Korčula and Poreč. Star Legend and Wind Spirit will both attend the Grand Prix of Monaco, and the Athens roundtrip program continues with a Mystery Cruise.
A new six-day Quick Getaway covers Amsterdam, Normandy and London, featuring Ostend/Bruges, Rouen/Paris, Honfleur and an overnight in London at HMS Belfast.
Windstar's Chief Operating Officer Stijn Creupelandt said the line's yachts, which carry fewer than 350 guests, allow itineraries to be shaped around destinations and event timing rather than the reverse.
