Los Angeles – September 24, 2026 -- Crunchyroll subscribers will see Part 2 of "The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System" continue streaming dubbed and subtitled this fall, following the reveal of a new key visual, main trailer, theme songs and four additional cast members.
Four new adventurers join the story as Part 2 shifts to the city of Lacoryna
Kosuke Tanabe voices Kelt, a B-rank Hunter; Tsugumi Sakuragi voices Maebel, a C-rank Priest; Misaki Kuno voices Hilde, a B-rank Magic Swordsman; and Kengo Kawanishi voices Carlos, an A-rank Magic Swordsman known as the "Black Flame Blade." The new trailer opens after the battle with Malice, as protagonists Elymas and Ruche arrive in Lacoryna, described as the city of adventurers.
Tokoyami Towa and PompadollS supply the Part 2 opening and ending themes
The opening theme, "Rewrite the Answer," is performed by Tokoyami Towa, a VTuber affiliated with hololive production. The ending theme, "Contemporary Dance," comes from Tokyo rock band PompadollS, formed in January 2024 by Goju Igarashi, Rentaro Aoki and Kaoru Tajima. Igarashi said in a statement that the group felt honored to contribute music to a story they found personally relatable.

The band's song "Akushoku (Gluttony)" surpassed 10 million plays on TikTok and reached No. 1 on Spotify's Japan Viral chart and No. 4 in South Korea. Their June 2026 Zepp Shinjuku show sold out the same day it was announced, and their May 2026 Seoul concert sold out within a minute. A national tour including a Zepp DiverCity date is scheduled for November 2027.
The series is based on a Kodansha manga with over 5 million copies in circulation
The anime, produced by GoHands with SHOCHIKU anime as production lead, adapts the Young Magazine series by Nekoko, Brocco Lee and Jaian. The story follows Elymas, exiled from House Edvaughn after manifesting the "defective" Heavy Knight class, who recovers memories of a past life revealing the world mirrors a VR game he once played obsessively.
