Nassau, The Bahamas – September 11, 2026 -- The fourth edition of FUZE Caribbean Art Fair will run October 21–25, 2026, in Nassau, bringing together more than 100 artists and over 20 galleries, museums and cultural institutions from over 10 Caribbean nations, the wider Americas, Africa and the United Kingdom.
General admission tickets cost $35 plus VAT, while a Culture Guru Pass offering unlimited five-day access is priced at $80 plus VAT. Tickets are available through festival.bahamar.com.
The fair's 2026 theme, Coming Home, explores belonging and identity
Organized by The Current: Baha Mar Gallery & Art Center since its 2023 launch, FUZE serves as the official arts component of The Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival. This year's theme reflects on home as both a physical place and an emotional space shaped by memory and community.
"Coming Home speaks to our collective desire to reconnect—with our histories, our communities and one another," said John Cox, VP of Arts & Culture at The Baha Mar Resort.
Featured artists include Lavar Munroe, fresh off a historic Venice Biennale showing
Munroe's presentation with the late John Beadle, titled In Another Man's Yard and curated by Dr. Krista Thompson at the 61st Venice Biennale, marked the first time in thirteen years The Bahamas was represented there. Baha Mar served as a major sponsor of that showing.
Other participating artists include New Jersey-based St. Martin artist Deborah Jack, Bahamian artist April Bey (represented by Vielmetter LA and TERN Gallery), Antonius Roberts OBE, Jamaican artist Charles Campbell, and Desmond Beach, represented by Richard Beavers Gallery in New York and recipient of the FUZE x SCOPE Residency Prize.
Programming extends beyond the exhibition floor into schools and panels
Participating galleries include TERN Gallery, The Current Baha Mar: Gallery & Art Center, and Galerie Myrtis. The week's schedule features panel discussions, workshops, academic Pulse Talks, and a figure drawing class led by John Cox.
With support from the Baha Mar Foundation and title sponsor Scotiabank, hundreds of school students from New Providence will take educational tours of the fair during the week. A partnership with Scope Art Show connects Caribbean artists with international collectors and curators, including through The Blue Floor Project, a FUZE initiative presented during Miami Art Week at SCOPE Art Show.
