Holland, Mich. – September 13, 2026 -- Wildlife photographer Rick Zwetsch has launched a new website expanding his Tiny Desk Photos project into four distinct galleries mixing photography, humor, art and animal trivia.
The site began with photos taken outside Zwetsch's home office
Tiny Desk Photos started with wildlife photographed near Zwetsch's Park Township home office and grew into a collection captured throughout Michigan and during his travels, camera and long lenses in tow.
Four galleries offer different ways to view the same wildlife
Wildlife with Attitude pairs original photographs with captions imagining what the animals might be thinking. The Wildlife Photography Gallery introduces a growing cast of named characters, each with a personality and short backstory tied to the individual pictured. The Unfiltered Gallery pushes the humor further with sharper, darker and occasionally profane captions. Artist Editions reimagine select photographs into art pieces, with AI incorporated into Zwetsch's creative process.
A blog and Facebook page add recurring wildlife trivia
The Wildlife Journal blog covers wildlife stories, behaviors and discoveries tied to the photography, including a recurring feature called Tiny Desk Facts, which shares unusual facts about featured species. New photographs, characters and Tiny Desk Facts are also posted on the newly launched Tiny Desk Photos Facebook page.
Zwetsch says the goal is a photo, a laugh, then a discovery
"I want people to stop because of a photograph, laugh because of what that wildlife character is supposedly thinking, and then discover something about the species they didn't know five minutes earlier," Zwetsch said.
The photos are also sold as wall art
Tiny Desk Photos images and Artist Editions are available as professionally produced wall art in multiple sizes, materials and presentation options.
