Anthony Edwards Signs Multi-Year Deal as PrizePicks' First NBA Ambassador

Atlanta – October 07, 2026 -- PrizePicks, the Atlanta-based sports entertainment company, has signed NBA superstar Anthony Edwards to a multi-year brand ambassador deal, marking the first time the company has partnered with an active NBA player in this role.

Edwards becomes the face of PrizePicks' ad and social campaigns

The former No. 1 overall draft pick and four-time All-Star will be heavily featured across PrizePicks' advertising and social media. "Teaming up with PrizePicks feels like an Atlanta homecoming," Edwards said, adding that the brand's "Run Your Game" messaging matches his own personality.

Joey Molko, PrizePicks' SVP of Partnerships, said Edwards' authenticity and fan connection made him a natural fit for the brand.

A viral shoe skit kicks off the partnership

To launch the deal, PrizePicks and Edwards released a skit responding to a viral clip in which a basketball rival mocked his signature sneakers. The response featured Edwards delivering a purple colorway of his newly released AE3 shoes to a crowd of fans in Minnesota. PrizePicks app users were given early access to purchase the purple AE3s.

Edwards' production company and foundation get involved

PrizePicks will also work with Three Fifths Media, the production company Edwards co-founded with Justin Holland, who will serve as a strategic advisor on the partnership. Their first joint project will be the satirical Believe That Awards, where PrizePicks will act as presenting sponsor and run a free-to-play game offering cash prizes and autographed AE3 shoes. PrizePicks will additionally support workforce development efforts at Edwards' nonprofit, Don't Follow the Wave.

Edwards joins comedian Druski in PrizePicks' creator roster

The Edwards deal follows PrizePicks' recently extended partnership with comedian Druski, who will appear alongside Edwards in future campaigns -- pairing two Atlanta-raised stars under the company's banner.

Responsible gaming remains a stated priority

In 2025, PrizePicks became the first and only fantasy sports operator to earn iCAP accreditation from the National Council on Problem Gambling for its responsible gaming practices.
