LOS ANGELES – November 06, 2026 -- Bigo Live is donating $15,000 to Union Station Homeless Services (USHS) to fund Thanksgiving meals for 664 people, and viewers can help the campaign along through themed livestreams and in-app gifts until Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26.
The campaign, called "Home is Just a Stream Away," runs from Nov. 1 through Nov. 26. Bigo Live has guaranteed the full donation, so every meal kit is funded in time for the holiday. This is the second year the livestreaming platform has partnered with USHS, the largest social services provider in the San Gabriel Valley.
The need is substantial: nearly 25% of households in Los Angeles County face food insecurity, according to USC Dornsife.
Creators host Thanksgiving streams all month
Creators will host festive streams for anyone who wants company, inviting viewers to share what they're grateful for. Thanksgiving-themed gifts, such as the Turkey Gift, move the community toward the 664-meal goal. An official event page shows the creator lineup and a real-time donation tracker.
Giving Battles run on four dates
Head-to-head Giving Battles between creators take place on Nov. 5, 12 and 19, with a Thanksgiving Eve finale on Nov. 25. Each battle opens with the host explaining the cause and how gifts bring the community closer to its goal.
The first round is Thursday, Nov. 5, from 2 to 6 p.m. PT. Barratinc faces Phoyou, Tinkytalk takes on Teddytalksremix, and Gmodt goes up against SLIMTHICKFINESHH. Lineups for the later battles will be announced on the event page.
USHS aims to feed 6,000 neighbors
"Knowing that more than 600 people will sit down to a Thanksgiving meal at their own tables because of this partnership is exactly why we do this," said Lynette Yang, Vice President at Bigo Live.
USHS CEO Katie Hill said the $15,000 commitment supports the organization's goal of feeding 6,000 neighbors.
Families can pick up free meal kits without signing up
Families in the San Gabriel Valley can pick up a free Thanksgiving meal kit while supplies last, with no sign-up required. Anyone in need is welcome, whether they want a hot meal or ingredients to cook their own.
Each kit feeds a family of up to four. It includes a full-size frozen turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls or cornbread, mac and cheese, corn, cranberry sauce, the makings of a green bean casserole, and a pie or pie ingredients. Larger households can request multiple kits.
