Mike Maroone Honda's 9th Car Show Raises Funds for Local Habitat Builds

Colorado Springs – October 01, 2026 -- Mike Maroone Honda will host its 9th Annual Car Show on Sunday, October 11, from 10 AM to 3 PM at 1103 Academy Park Loop in Colorado Springs, with all proceeds benefiting Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity.

Last year's show raised $34,000 for affordable housing

Building on that total, this year's event aims to draw car enthusiasts, families and community members for a day of fundraising tied to local housing projects.

Judges will award 18 trophies at 2 PM

Categories include People's Choice, Most Unique and Best Race Car, with winners announced during the afternoon ceremony.

Kids' activities and 35-plus vendors round out the day

Attendees can enjoy face painting, a low car limbo, a Hot Wheels play area, a Power Wheels race for children, tug-of-war competitions, live music, and food from more than 35 vendors.

A $5 raffle entry offers a chance to win a car

Organizers are running a Car Giveaway this year, with unlimited $5 entries for a chance to win a running and driving vehicle. The winner will be announced at the show's awards ceremony and must be present to win.

"Nine years in, this show has become one of the highlights of our year, not just because of the incredible cars, but because of what it represents," said Zach Lewis of Mike Maroone Honda.

Iain Probert, Chief Strategy Officer at Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity, said every dollar raised goes toward building safe, stable housing for local families, adding that doing so through a day of community celebration makes the effort more meaningful.
