Cincinnati – September 12, 2026 -- Penn Station Sandwiches, recently rebranded from Penn Station East Coast Subs, has relaunched its annual Deals for Down Syndrome fundraising campaign, letting guests donate $5 for a coupon booklet worth more than $30 in offers.
The chain matches every dollar raised, doubling the impact of customer donations, with proceeds benefiting Down Syndrome Associations across the country. The campaign has surpassed $2 million in total support to date, according to founder Jeff Osterfeld.
The booklet packs four coupons redeemable through March 2027
Available at participating locations while supplies last, the $5 booklet includes a free small sub or sandwich, a free kid's meal with qualifying purchase, a free regular drink and small fry, and a buy-one-get-one-free sub of any size. Each coupon carries a unique, one-time-use promotional code and can be redeemed in-store, online or through the Penn Station app through March 21, 2027, which is National Down Syndrome Awareness Day.
Funds stay local to support families in the communities they serve
Proceeds remain in the communities where Penn Station restaurants operate, supporting local Down Syndrome Associations that provide programs, educational resources, advocacy and enrichment opportunities. Beth Smith, Executive Director of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati, said the partnership helps raise funds for local programs while building awareness for the Down syndrome community.
Guests can buy a booklet at a participating Penn Station restaurant or online while supplies last, then redeem the coupons in-store, online or via the Penn Station app.
