Zero-Commission Ride App Throo Expands to Denver, Adds 3 More Cities
New York – September 22, 2026 -- Throo, the ride-hailing app that charges drivers a flat $1 per trip instead of a commission, has launched in Denver, its first market outside New York City, three months after debuting in June.
Riders can request a car in Denver using the same throo app, login, and saved payment method they already use in New York. More than 55,000 drivers have signed up to drive with throo in New York City since June.
Denver rides run through a driver-owned cooperative
Denver service is provided by Drivers Cooperative Colorado (COOP), a driver-owned cooperative approved by the State of Colorado and authorized for pickups at Denver International Airport. Riders can be picked up at the terminal and travel anywhere in the metro area.
