Volaris Now Lets Flyers Rebook Free or Get Full Refund on Delays
Montreal – October 06, 2026 -- Volaris has launched a new optional service called Disruption Assistance, letting travelers facing a flight delay of more than two hours or a same-day cancellation choose between a free rebooking or a 100% refund of their trip cost while keeping the disrupted flight.
Travelers Get a Self-Serve Fix for Flight Chaos
Customers who purchase the add-on can rebook themselves on Volaris or another airline, with the cost covered by travel tech firm HTS (Hopper Technology Solutions), through a self-serve tool. If no rebooking option works for them, they can instead opt for a full refund of their trip price without giving up their original, disrupted flight.
