Hygenie uses a clamp system engineered in Canada that seals immediately after each use, the company says, aiming to control odor without interrupting daily routines for users or caregivers.
The pail holds up to 12 extra-large adult briefs
An extra-wide opening is built to fit briefs of any size, while the high-capacity pail accommodates up to 12 XL adult briefs before it needs to be emptied, reducing how often caregivers or users need to intervene.
Included refill bags can hold 144 XL briefs
The starter refill bundled with the system features multi-layer, lightly scented tear-off bags with odor-locking technology, with each refill rated to hold up to 144 XL adult briefs.
The design targets users with limited mobility
Hygenie stands at an ergonomic 24 inches, a height intended to reduce bending for people with mobility limitations. Interior surfaces are designed for easy cleaning, and the pail's oval shape is meant to look like a household item rather than a clinical device.
"With Hygenie, we're not just launching a product; we're reimagining what dignity in home care can look like," said Rahul Sharda, CEO of Angelcare Group. He added that the goal was to replace clinical design with comfort so users can maintain independence at home.
