Hong Kong – September 16, 2026 -- Cheerble has launched Wickedbone Air, an app-controlled dog toy priced at an introductory $59.99, now available at cheerble.com after pre-orders opened September 7, 2026.
Owners steer the toy in real time through a virtual joystick
The toy offers two play modes. In Drive Mode, owners use the Cheerble App's virtual joystick to guide the toy's movement live, adjusting direction as their dog chases it. Auto Mode relies on built-in movement patterns and touch responses so the toy can play on its own while owners supervise nearby. Built-in sound effects add an audio cue during play, and a separate Find Device feature triggers a sound through the app to help owners locate the toy if it ends up under furniture.
The outer shell can be swapped out without replacing the whole toy
Wickedbone Air introduces a replaceable E-TPU outer shell designed to absorb impact and cut down noise on hard flooring. Owners can buy a new shell separately, at an MSRP of $19.99, while keeping the toy's inner working unit intact. The device also weighs 8.7 oz (246 g), 54 grams lighter than the original Wickedbone. A recessed charging port replaces the removable cap used on the earlier model.
Bluetooth range more than doubles compared to the original toy
The new model's specified Bluetooth range runs 20 to 50 meters, up from under 20 meters on the original Wickedbone, though actual range depends on the environment since app control uses a local Bluetooth connection. Once Auto Mode starts, play continues even if the Bluetooth connection drops, so the toy doesn't need an immediate reconnection to keep running.
Wickedbone Air arrives during Cheerble's tenth anniversary year, following the original Wickedbone that debuted in 2018. The company's product lineup also includes its Wicked Ball toy family.
