Rowland Heights, Calif. – September 20, 2026 -- Giraffe Tools has launched the GrandFlux Retractable Vacuum Cleaner, a wall-mounted garage system that pushes both suction and electrical power through a single 40-foot retractable hose. More than 1,000 consumers placed paid deposits ahead of launch, according to the company.
Founder Access opens at 12:00 a.m. ET on Sept. 20 and closes at 11:59 p.m. ET on Sept. 21 -- a 48-hour window. During that period, the unit is priced at $399.99, a $150 discount off its $549.99 MSRP.
The vacuum stays mounted while the hose does the work
GrandFlux is built to eliminate the routine of dragging a shop vacuum to a vehicle, hunting for an outlet, and coiling the hose afterward. The system remains installed on a garage wall, and the hose extends to the car, floor or workbench, reducing the process to three steps: pull, clean, retract.
The company designed the system around three use cases: vehicle interiors, garage floors and workbenches, and adjacent spaces like entryways, mudrooms and stairs reachable within the 40-foot hose radius.
EnduraPower sends electricity through the same hose as suction
Giraffe Tools' EnduraPower architecture allows compatible attachments to run on electricity delivered through the same hose carrying suction. The included powered brush uses that power to agitate embedded dirt in carpet and upholstery while the vacuum lifts it away in a single pass. An integrated LED illuminates footwells and other low-visibility areas.
Corded power delivers up to 20 kPa of continuous suction
Because GrandFlux runs on continuous household power rather than a battery, it avoids runtime and recharging limits associated with cordless vacuums. The unit generates up to 20 kPa of suction, holds a 5.2-gallon collection bin, and uses HEPA filtration to capture fine dust.
SyncRetract automatically pulls the hose back to the wall
A remote-controlled system called SyncRetract draws the hose back into its wall station after use, removing the need to coil it manually. The unit arrives approximately 95% pre-installed, according to the company, reducing setup time before first use.
Giraffe Tools CEO Oracle said the goal was to make cleaning "less of a project you have to plan and more of something you can simply do when you notice it needs attention."
Interchangeable attachments cover pet hair, wet spills and tight spaces
The station accepts swappable attachments for garage-floor debris, car interiors, upholstery, workbench dust, pet hair, tight spaces and wet spills. A floor-washing attachment is currently in development, according to the company.
GrandFlux extends a retractable-equipment approach Giraffe Tools has applied to garden hose reels, pressure washers, air hose reels and extension cord reels. The company says it has sold more than 10 million units worldwide. After the 48-hour Founder Access window closes, GrandFlux moves into broader pre-order phases.
