Houston – September 20, 2026 -- Olight has launched the ArkTac Series, its first tactical flashlight line built on the flat-body, multi-source design first introduced with the ArkPro, alongside a new Amber Orange colorway for the ArkPro Ultra. The announcements came at O-Fan Day 2026, timed to National Preparedness Month.
The ArkTac Series adds tactical controls to a flat, pocketable body
The lineup includes two models, ArkTac and ArkTac Ultra, both featuring a two-stage tail switch that jumps straight to Turbo Spotlight or Pure Flood without cycling through modes. A new CommandPoint shortcut activates Strobe with one touch and can be reprogrammed for other functions. Both models include UV and Red Light, while the Ultra version adds a Green Laser. Output reaches up to 1,800 lumens with a beam distance of up to 215 meters.
ArkTac Ultra also introduces OAL2, Olight's next-generation aluminum alloy, which the company says is 7.3% harder and has 11.5% higher yield strength than its first-generation OAL material.
ArkPro Ultra gets its most vibrant finish yet
The premium ArkPro Ultra now comes in Amber Orange, described by Olight as its most vibrant colorway to date, pairing metallic orange with black accents. The finish uses a dual-anodizing process, a first for the company, which it says offers up to twice the scratch resistance of its standard anodized coatings.
ArkPro Ultra retains its four light sources — Pure Flood, Spotlight, UV and Green Laser — across seven configurations, powered by Olight's self-developed EIP 1 LED for up to 1,700 lumens in a compact EDC flashlight.
Additional products round out the fall lineup
Olight also unveiled the PL X GL, Oclip 2 Series and Marauder 3 at the event.
New products hit shelves starting September 21
ArkPro Ultra Amber Orange will retail for $129.99, the PL X GL for $149.99, and the Marauder 3 for $369.99, all launching September 21. The Oclip 2 Series starts at $49.99 on the same date. The ArkTac Series starts at $119.99 and is expected to arrive later this year, with pricing and availability subject to change by market.
Olight general manager Mavis Xiao said the company's O-Fan community, now marking its fifth in-person event, continues to shape products like the ArkTac Series and Amber Orange ArkPro Ultra through direct feedback.
