Glendale, Calif. – September 15, 2026 -- The RealReal will open its newest Southern California store at 230 S Brand Blvd in Glendale on October 1, 2026, offering authenticated luxury resale and expert consignment services to shoppers across the greater Los Angeles area.
The store sits among Glendale's established luxury retailers
The location joins a shopping corridor that includes Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, Tiffany & Co., David Yurman, Golden Goose, Alo and Nordstrom, just outside Downtown Los Angeles and Hollywood.
Shoppers can browse authenticated pieces from Chanel, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Gucci, The Row, Cartier and Rolex, with new arrivals added regularly across women's and men's fashion, handbags, fine jewelry, watches and accessories.
Consignors get one-on-one valuations and private appointments
The Glendale store offers personalized consignment consultations, expert valuations for items already in customers' closets, and private appointments for high-value pieces such as fine jewelry, watches and rare handbags.
Vintage demand has jumped sharply since 2020
The RealReal's 2026 Resale Report found demand for vintage pieces has increased 432% since 2020, with searches for 2000s fashion up 93% year over year. More than half of the company's customer base is now Gen Z and Millennials.
The company posted record sales in the second quarter of 2026
The RealReal reported record quarterly gross merchandise value of $617 million in Q2 2026, up 22% year over year, with trailing-twelve-month active buyers growing 11%.
The Glendale opening adds to The RealReal's existing Southern California retail network, which includes stores in Los Angeles on Melrose Avenue and in Brentwood, as well as Newport Beach. Store hours will run Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
