OLATHE – September 04, 2026 -- Garmin has launched the JL Audio M200 series, a new lineup of marine speakers and subwoofers priced from $199.99 to $349.99, expanding its M-series audio lineup for boaters.
The speakers come in three sizes with distinct sound roles
The M200 series includes 6.5-inch and 7.7-inch speakers alongside a 10-inch subwoofer. The speakers use a 1-inch edge-driven silk dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet, handling up to 60 watts RMS for smooth, warm sound. The subwoofer features an injection molded polypropylene cone and rubber surround, delivering 250-watts RMS power handling for deep bass with minimal distortion.
Boaters can customize LED lighting to match their vessel
Both speakers and subwoofers include RGB lighting that owners can personalize. Pairing the system with a Garmin Spectra or Garmin Lumishore light control module, sold separately, unlocks advanced lighting control through a compatible chartplotter or the ActiveCaptain app.
The design fits existing boats and matches other M-series gear
Standard cutout sizes and mounting holes let owners retrofit the M200 series into boats already equipped with speakers. White or gray grille options are available to match interiors and align with the look of Garmin's other M-series products, including the M6 and M3.
Marine-grade construction targets salt and sun exposure
Garmin built the M200 series with corrosion-resistant connections and marine-grade materials intended to withstand harsh onboard conditions throughout the boating season.
Susan Lyman, Garmin's Vice President of Global Consumer Sales & Marketing, said the M200 series is designed to keep the party going year after year, combining performance, durability and versatility for a day on the water.
The JL Audio M200 series is available now.
