Hizero's Suction-Free Robot Mop Wins Triple Honors at IFA 2026

Berlin – September 11, 2026 -- Hizero has picked up three separate honors at IFA 2026 in Berlin for its no-suction approach to cleaning hard floors, with its new autonomous robot cleaner, the Glide (R700), at the center of the recognition.

The Glide claims three awards in one appearance

The Glide was named a 2026 IFA Innovation Award Honoree in the Best in Smart Home category, received the AH Best of IFA 2026 Award, and earned the Digital Trends Publisher Award as an IFA 2026 Innovation Winner. It marks Hizero's first autonomous robot floor cleaner.

The device skips the vacuum-then-mop routine

Hizero's polymer-roller technology collects solid debris and manages liquid spills in a single pass, targeting the two-step sweep-and-mop habit common in households with hard flooring. The company says it is not trying to replace vacuum cleaners, which remain necessary for carpets, but is instead addressing messes -- crumbs, pet accidents, spills -- that vacuums and traditional mops struggle to handle together on hard surfaces.

No app required for setup

The Glide operates without needing an app connection, a design choice Hizero says makes it more accessible to older users and anyone who prefers straightforward appliances. It also includes an automatic maintenance cycle that keeps its polymer roller wet and clean between uses.

IFA marks Hizero's widest product lineup yet

Alongside the Glide, Hizero showcased manual mops and other hard-floor appliances built on the same signature roller system, representing its broadest range of hard-surface cleaning products to date.

"We are not against vacuuming. We are solving cleaning problems that vacuums and traditional mops cannot fix on hard floors," said Sam Li, CEO and founder of Hizero, adding that the company's goal is to give people more time to enjoy living and less time cleaning.
