EcoFlow's DELTA Gen4 Can Run a Fridge for Up to 70 Hours

Seattle – November 04, 2026 -- EcoFlow's new DELTA Gen4 portable power stations are on sale now from $1,299 and, according to the company, can keep a refrigerator running for up to 70 hours during an outage. The RIVER Gen4 line of smaller units opens for pre-sale on November 24.

EcoFlow announced both series ahead of a Miami event where it will show the TITAN, DELTA Gen4 and RIVER Gen4 to the U.S. market.

DELTA Gen4 stretches backup power for the fridge

Both DELTA models cut their own power draw by up to 70%, according to EcoFlow. They use 14W with AC on and no load, and 3W in standby. EcoFlow says industry averages are over 20W and 10W. A Fridge Runtime Boost feature reduces wasted energy between refrigerator cooling cycles. EcoFlow says that helps keep food cold for two to three days.

With the feature on, the DELTA 3800 Gen4 can run a fridge for up to 70 hours and the DELTA 3000 Gen4 for up to 58 hours. EcoFlow says the 58-hour figure is 17 hours longer than comparable competing products.

An Emergency Power Mode, which EcoFlow calls an industry first, holds back a small DC reserve for phones and lights even after the display reads 0%. The units keep 99% of their charge after a year in storage, thanks to automotive-grade LFP cells.

Two sizes deliver 3,600W of output

The DELTA 3800 Gen4 offers 3,763Wh of capacity, expandable to 12kWh, and weighs 67.5 lbs. The DELTA 3000 Gen4 offers 3,072Wh and weighs 57.3 lbs. Both deliver 3,600W rated output and 7,200W surge power. EcoFlow says that is enough for up to 99% of household appliances, including refrigerators, microwaves and induction cooktops. X-Boost technology supports appliances needing up to 4,600W.

The 3000 model supports four charging methods and reaches a full charge from AC in under two hours. The 3800 model supports six methods and charges fully from AC in under 2.5 hours. Storm Guard Mode 2.0 uses National Weather Service data to help users prepare before severe weather, and a 10ms UPS switchover keeps connected electronics running when the grid drops.

RIVER Gen4 shrinks the footprint for camping and home use

The RIVER 260 Gen4 weighs just over 6 lbs. and offers 256Wh and 300W output. EcoFlow says it is 32% smaller than the industry average. The RIVER 520 Gen4 packs 512Wh and 500W into a 10-lb. body that EcoFlow says is 54% smaller than average.

Both draw 6.6W with AC on and 1W in standby. They recharge from 0 to 80% in as little as 42 minutes (260) or 50 minutes (520) and offer a 140W bidirectional USB-C port. Emergency Power Mode and sub-10ms UPS switchover are included.

Early-bird pricing starts at $1,299

The DELTA 3000 Gen4 costs $1,299 and the DELTA 3800 Gen4 costs $1,699 at early-bird pricing on EcoFlow's website. EcoFlow's Black Friday sale runs from November 2 through December 7, with up to 58% off select home backup and portable power products.
