Las Vegas – October 07, 2026 -- Capriotti's Sandwich Shop will celebrate the first-ever Bobbie Day on Wednesday, October 14, marking 50 years since the chain's Thanksgiving-inspired sandwich debuted.
Rewards members get a buy-one, get-one 50% off deal on turkey subs
On October 14, Capriotti's Rewards Members can buy one turkey sub and get a second at 50% off, with the offer covering The Bobbie, The Hot Bobbie, Classic Club, American Wagyu Club, Homemade Turkey, Cole Turkey, and the plant-based versions of Cole Turkey and Turkey. The first 100 Rewards Members who make an in-shop purchase at participating locations that day will also receive a free, limited-edition Bobbie sticker while supplies last.
Free gravy returns for Rewards Members through the end of 2026
Starting on Bobbie Day and running through December 31, Rewards Members can get one free side of gravy with any full-priced sub purchase, intended for dipping The Bobbie and adding extra Thanksgiving flavor.
The sandwich traces back to a family's day-after-Thanksgiving leftovers
The Bobbie originated from Aunt Bobbie, who turned holiday leftovers into sandwiches of turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and mayo the day after Thanksgiving. After she passed away, her family began selling the creation to Capriotti's guests as a limited-time offering, and demand eventually earned it a permanent spot on the menu.
Capriotti's slow-roasts whole Butterball turkeys in-house every night
Shops roast whole Butterball turkeys overnight and hand-pull the meat each morning before layering it with stuffing, cranberry sauce and mayo for The Bobbie. Ashley Morris, CEO of Capriotti's Sandwich Shop, said the sandwich created a category that competitors have chased for decades but said "there is a difference between making a Thanksgiving sandwich and making The Bobbie."
New customers can join Rewards for a free 8-inch sub
Guests who sign up for Capriotti's Rewards at capriottis.com and opt into SMS can receive a free small 8-inch sub upon qualifying enrollment. Bobbie Day is part of Capriotti's yearlong 50th-anniversary celebration, and The Bobbie has previously been voted "Greatest Sandwich in America."
