Ollie Launches Holiday Feast, a Fresh Turkey Dinner Made Just for Dogs

New York – September 18, 2026 -- Ollie, the human-grade fresh dog food brand, is rolling out a seasonal recipe called Holiday Feast, giving dog owners an alternative to sneaking table scraps to their pets this year.

The recipe combines turkey and turkey liver, sweet potatoes, cranberries, butternut squash, green beans, and spinach, gently cooked and formulated by the brand's veterinarians, chefs, and food scientists. It meets AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages, including large-breed growth for dogs over 70 pounds as adults.

Holiday leftovers can be risky for dogs, Ollie says

Common holiday staples like turkey skin, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, and pumpkin pie can be harmful to dogs, according to the brand. Holiday Feast is positioned as a safer, dog-specific substitute rather than handing over plate scraps.

Dog owners already treat pets like holiday family members

An Ollie survey of 1,000 American dog parents found 96% give their dog something special to eat during the holidays that they wouldn't get on a normal day, and 95% buy their dog a holiday gift. Ninety percent said their dog deserves a special holiday meal, while 73% said their dog is just as much a part of the holiday celebration as any other family member.

The survey also found 52% have driven instead of flown for holiday travel to make it easier for their dog to join them, with 20% driving eight hours or more. Nearly a quarter, 23%, have spent $100 or more on their dog's holiday gifts in a single year, and 47% admitted to wrapping presents for their pet.

Recipe rolls out through October at Ollie and Petco

Holiday Feast becomes available October 6 for existing Ollie Pack members, then opens to all dog parents nationwide on Ollie.com starting October 8. Petco locations will carry the recipe in stores beginning October 9, while supplies last.

"Holiday Feast takes the obsession to the bowl, giving dog parents a fresh, thoughtfully crafted meal that feels as special as the dog it's made for," said Bryan Angolia, Dog Chef & Senior Manager of R&D at Ollie.
