Berlin – September 08, 2026 -- Grundig showcased a new lineup of TVs, refrigerators, washer-dryers and air conditioners at IFA 2026 in Berlin, marking a fresh phase in its partnership with parent company Beko and Chinese manufacturer Changhong.
Changhong now licenses the Grundig brand in select markets
The event followed Beko's licensing of the Grundig brand to Changhong for specific product categories and regions. The two companies say they will combine Changhong's manufacturing and R&D capabilities with Grundig's European market presence and design heritage to expand the brand internationally.
The AURORA 100 TV packs 9,720 dimming zones into a 39mm frame
The flagship AURORA 100 television uses RGB Micro-Focusing LED chips and OD8 ultra-narrow light-control technology, with 9,720 independently controlled dimming zones. Despite the dense hardware, the panel measures just 39 millimeters thick and includes AI-powered Aurora Light Wings for ambient lighting effects.
The Space Pro fridge fits 600 liters into a 599mm-deep cabinet
Grundig's Space Pro refrigerator series offers 600 liters of storage in a 599-millimeter-deep body, alongside a -3.5°C Fresh Zone compartment designed for extended food preservation. The lineup also includes integrated washer-dryers with 45°C heat-pump drying and AI-controlled air conditioners featuring fresh-air circulation and purification.
Grundig frames the launch around its "It starts at home" design philosophy
The company said the new products continue its focus on design and smart features while adapting to regional lifestyle preferences. Grundig and Beko described the IFA showing as a milestone in putting the Changhong partnership into practice, with plans to expand the brand's footprint in Europe and other international markets.
