Vero Beach – November 06, 2026 -- United Vein & Vascular Centers (UVVC) opens a new vein clinic at 3755 7th Terrace, Suite 202, in Vero Beach, Florida, on Oct. 26, 2026. Appointments are already being scheduled at (800) 952-5954.
The clinic sits near Vero Beach's 37th Street medical corridor
The location offers vein screenings, diagnostic evaluations and individualized treatment for varicose veins, swelling, leg heaviness, skin changes and other concerns that may be linked to vein disease. It is set up to serve patients from Vero Beach, Sebastian, Fellsmere, Indian River Shores and neighboring Treasure Coast communities. Care that needs several visits for evaluation, treatment and follow-up can now start inside the community.
Dr. James Estes, a vascular surgeon with 30-plus years of experience, will lead the team
Dr. Estes is board-certified and has treated arterial and venous disease for more than 30 years. His background covers vascular and endovascular surgery, advanced vascular imaging, peripheral artery disease, limb preservation and complex venous disease.
He starts by asking what the patient has noticed, how it affects daily life and what the patient hopes to gain from care. When further testing makes sense, diagnostic ultrasound imaging can show veins that are not circulating blood properly. He weighs those findings against symptoms, medical history, vein anatomy and overall vascular health.
A screening does not automatically lead to a procedure
The first visit is a conversation about symptoms, when they occur, and how they affect work, sleep and mobility. Depending on the results, the physician may recommend monitoring, conservative care, minimally invasive treatment or no treatment at all.
Symptoms vary. Some patients notice a raised vein or discoloration around the ankles. Others notice aching, swelling, fatigue, burning, itching, leg cramps or restlessness, often after long periods of sitting or standing.
Five minimally invasive treatments will be available in Vero Beach
- Radiofrequency ablation (RFA): controlled heat closes a vein that is not circulating blood properly, and blood reroutes through healthier nearby veins.
- VenaSealTM: a medical adhesive closes the affected vein without heat, depending on the patient's evaluation and vein anatomy.
- Varithena®: an injectable foam closes certain affected veins, including some varicose veins.
- Ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy: ultrasound guides an injectable solution into a targeted vein, which closes while blood reroutes.
- Microphlebectomy: larger, visible varicose veins are removed through very small openings in the skin.
A patient may need one procedure, a combination, further evaluation or none. Dr. Estes bases his recommendation on the veins involved, symptoms, ultrasound findings, medical history and individual needs.
UVVC now runs five clinics in the region and 17 locations across Florida
The Vero Beach opening adds a clinic to UVVC's network serving the Treasure Coast and Palm Beach area. Local patients can begin care, complete recommended treatment and return for follow-up appointments in Vero Beach.
