Atascocita Gets a New Minimally Invasive Vein Clinic July 15

Atascocita, Texas – – November 06, 2026 --

Residents of the Lake Houston area can get specialized vein care close to home starting July 15, 2026, when United Vein & Vascular Centers (UVVC) begins seeing patients at its new Atascocita clinic. The clinic is at 17903 W Lake Houston Parkway, Suite 102, in Humble, TX 77346.

It is meant to serve Atascocita, Humble, Kingwood, Summerwood, and surrounding communities. UVVC says demand for specialty healthcare is rising in Atascocita, one of the fastest-growing communities in the Houston metropolitan area.

Dr. Malik Kutty leads the new clinic

Dr. Malik Kutty will head the clinic. His approach centers on individualized treatment plans based on each patient's symptoms, lifestyle, and vascular health needs. He and the clinical team use advanced ultrasound imaging and minimally invasive techniques, aiming for effective treatment with minimal downtime.

Vein disease symptoms often creep up slowly

Vein disease often develops gradually, so leg heaviness, swelling, aching, or visible varicose veins are easy to dismiss. UVVC says a clinic within the community makes it easier to get evaluated earlier without traveling across the Houston metro area.

Five outpatient procedures are on the menu
  • Radiofrequency ablation (RFA): Controlled heat closes veins that are not circulating blood properly, so blood reroutes through healthier veins nearby.
  • VenaSealTM: A medical adhesive closes affected veins without heat, redirecting blood flow while minimizing downtime.
  • Varithena®: An injectable microfoam treats certain varicose veins and affected veins that may be difficult to address with other methods.
  • Ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy: Ultrasound imaging guides an injectable solution into affected veins, causing them to close so blood can reroute through healthier veins.
  • Microphlebectomy: Larger surface varicose veins are removed through tiny incisions, reducing visible bulging and related discomfort.

The Atascocita opening is part of UVVC's continued investment in expanding access to specialized vein care across the greater Houston region.
