ONTARIO, Calif. -- September 01, 2026 -- Platt College graduated its Class of 2026 on Saturday, August 29, during a commencement ceremony at the Ontario Convention Center, marking the 20th consecutive year the college has held the event at that venue. Graduates from Platt's Southern California campuses received associate and bachelor's degrees along with diplomas in front of family, friends, faculty, and staff. The ceremony closed out programs tied to healthcare, technology, business, legal services, and design.
Graduates Cross the Stage After Balancing Work, Family, and School
Many students in the Class of 2026 finished their coursework while juggling jobs and family responsibilities outside the classroom. Commencement gave them a chance to acknowledge the instructors, staff, and relatives who supported them through that stretch. Family members, friends, and Platt staff filled the Ontario Convention Center to watch the graduates receive their credentials.
Josh Zuckerwise, CEO of Platt College, addressed the crowd and spoke about watching students work toward the moment. "They should be proud of everything they have accomplished, and our entire Platt team is honored to celebrate this achievement with them," Zuckerwise said.
College Marks Two Decades at the Same Ontario Venue
This year's event kept a tradition Platt College has followed for 20 years, returning to the Ontario Convention Center rather than rotating locations. Graduates traveled from Platt's campuses across Southern California, including Alhambra, Anaheim, and Riverside, to take part in the shared ceremony.
Diplomas Point Toward Healthcare, Tech, and Design Jobs
The degrees and diplomas awarded cover fields where employers have reported ongoing demand for trained workers. Graduates left with credentials tied to specific career paths in healthcare, technology, business, legal services, and design, rather than general academic degrees. Platt College said it continues to invest in its programs, facilities, faculty, and student support services as it works to place graduates in jobs after commencement.
