Midea Unveils 350°C SpaceMaster Oven with Graphene Heating at IFA 2026

Berlin – September 09, 2026 -- Midea showcased its new SpaceMaster built-in oven at IFA 2026 in Berlin, featuring a graphene-based heating system and cooking temperatures reaching 350°C.

Graphene tubes cut heating reaction time to 0.2 seconds

The oven's core feature, called Graphene Turbo Hot Air technology, uses graphene heating tubes designed to deliver heat rapidly. Midea states the heating system achieves a thermal reaction time of up to 0.2 seconds, though this figure refers to the heating element's own response speed rather than the time needed for the oven cavity to reach 350°C.

Maximum temperature of 350°C targets intense, short-burst cooking

The SpaceMaster's 350°C ceiling extends the temperature range typically available in household built-in ovens. Midea says this higher maximum is intended for cooking methods that require brief bursts of intense heat, while the faster-reacting heating elements aim to enable more direct heat delivery and precise temperature control.

A Michelin-starred chef demonstrated the oven live on Midea's Culinary Stage

Following the product unveiling, Midea staged a live cooking demonstration on its Culinary Stage, where a Michelin-starred chef prepared several dishes using the SpaceMaster in front of attending media, giving guests a hands-on look beyond the technical presentation.
