Peptides by Prescription: What the New FDA Policy Changes

Carlsbad – October 29, 2026 -- Men in the US can now get certain peptides through state-licensed compounding pharmacies with a prescription, and Gameday Men's Health says it offers peptide therapy at 430 locations nationwide, subject to state law and pharmacy availability.

FDA interim policy moves peptides into licensed pharmacies

Under the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's new interim policy, state-licensed compounding pharmacies can prepare certain peptides with a prescription. Until now, many men have bought peptides online as "research chemicals," often made overseas, with no prescription and no medical oversight.

Gameday Chief Medical Officer Dr. Haleem Mohammed said the policy gives men "a safer option." He added that every prescription should start with a real medical evaluation and come from a licensed pharmacy.

New Daily Capsule Claims 62% Drop in Perimenopause Symptoms

Carlsbad – September 30, 2026 -- Qualia Life Sciences launched Qualia Perimenopause on September 29, a hormone-free supplement taken once daily that the company says cuts overall perimenopause symptom burden by about 62% after 28 days.

The formula combines seven natural bioactives in one capsule

Qualia Perimenopause contains seven non-GMO ingredients, including three branded components that have been clinically studied on their own. The product is also soy-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, and does not require refrigeration.

A 28-day study compared three candidate formulas head-to-head

In an in-home trial, Qualia's formula was tested against two other perimenopause products over 28 days. By the end of the study period, participants using Qualia Perimenopause reported roughly a 62% reduction in overall symptom burden compared to their baseline, outperforming the two comparison formulas.

Arlo Secure 7 Adds AI Threat Detection and Daily Video Recaps

Carlsbad – September 18, 2026 -- Arlo Technologies has launched Arlo Secure 7, a software update that adds AI-driven threat detection and automatic video summaries to its home security cameras, rolling out to subscribers over the next month.

Threat Assessment flags break-ins and fires within seconds

The new Threat Assessment feature scans camera footage to distinguish real emergencies -- break-ins, fire, armed threats, or theft -- from routine activity. When it detects a high-risk event, the system automatically responds, turning on a camera's siren or spotlight, sending urgent alerts that override Mute and do-not-disturb settings, or escalating the situation to a live Safety Agent for possible emergency dispatch. Arlo says the feature is designed to trigger action within seconds of an event being detected.
