NEW YORK – September 24, 2026 -- World Team Tennis (WTT) announced that Coco Gauff has joined the Florida Flamingos Racquet Club as both a player and an owner ahead of the league's December relaunch.

Gauff will play two home matches at Amerant Bank Arena.

WAN AICHEF ULTRA Named 2026 IDEA Finalist for 'Load and Go' AI Cooking

LAS VEGAS – September 19, 2026 -- WAN AICHEF ULTRA, an AI-powered cooking system, has been named a Professional Category Finalist in the 2026 International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA), presented by the Industrial Designers Society of America.

The appliance lets users load food, pick a program and walk away

Ultra is built around what the company calls a "Load and Go" experience: users place food inside, select a cooking goal, confirm the suggested program, and the system handles adjustments as cooking proceeds. For supported ingredients, an AI vision system can identify the food and recommend a program before the user confirms it.

"We began by asking which decisions people repeat every night and which of those the appliance could responsibly take on," said Stanley Huo, CEO of WAN AICHEF. "The change is not simply what the appliance can do, but what the user no longer has to do."

Grief Counselor: Healing Getaways Help Families After Child Loss

Madison – September 07, 2026 -- Family grief counselor Matt Wallace of Nevaeh's Rae of Hope says structured getaways can give grieving families rare, uninterrupted time to reconnect after the loss of a child.

Losing a child upends every part of family life

Parents and siblings often keep managing work, school, and household duties while carrying overwhelming grief, Wallace notes. Stepping away from that routine, even briefly, can create space that ongoing counseling and family support alone don't provide.

Getaways are not a substitute for counseling

Wallace is clear that these trips don't erase grief or replace professional therapy. Instead, they offer a peaceful setting where families can remember their child, support each other, and move at their own pace, since every family's grief looks different.

FPL's New Assistance Center Offers $200 Bill Credit and Help Finding Aid

Juno Beach, Fla. – September 03, 2026 -- Florida Power & Light Company has launched an online Assistance Center that helps customers find bill help, energy-saving programs and local support in one place.

The centerpiece is FPL Saving Steps, a new program for income-qualified customers that teaches ways to cut everyday energy use. Customers who complete the program can receive a one-time $200 credit toward a future FPL bill.

FPL rolls out the center as summer heat pushes bills higher

Dawn Nichols, FPL's vice president of customer service, said the tool is meant to make support easier to find, whether customers need help today, want to lower future bills, or need assistance with other costs like medical bills, rent or mortgage payments. She added that customers who don't qualify for government aid should check whether they qualify for Saving Steps.
