Uncasville – September 08, 2026 -- Mohegan Sun has picked up four second-place finishes in the USA TODAY 10Best Readers' Choice Awards, covering Best Casino Hotel, Best Casino Outside of Las Vegas and Best Casino for Slots, a category the resort won in its inaugural year in 2025.
The Farm Italy at Mohegan Sun also placed second for Best Casino Restaurant, while the resort's Momentum loyalty program was nationally recognized in the Best Players' Club category.
Readers cast votes after expert panels select nominees
Nominees across all 10Best categories are chosen by a panel including USA TODAY editors, 10Best.com editors and Gannett contributors, before the public votes over a four-week period on 10Best.com, a site that draws more than 5 million visitors monthly.

The casino floor spans nearly 4,000 slots and 300-plus table games
Mohegan Sun's gaming space, split between Casino of the Earth and Casino of the Sky, includes a poker room, high-limit lounges and a Sportsbook featuring a 140-foot-wide continuous video wall, described as the largest in the Northeast.
The Farm Italy was also separately named one of OpenTable's Top 100 Restaurants in the U.S.
Mohegan Sun Arena earns its ninth ACM industry award
The 10,000-seat Mohegan Sun Arena was named "Casino of the Year - Arena" at the 61st ACM Awards, voted on by Academy of Country Music members including artists, producers and talent buyers. It marks the ninth time the venue has received the honor.
The arena hosts more than 100 concerts annually and has featured artists including Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan and Chris Stapleton over its 25-year history.
As part of Mohegan Sun's 30th Birthday celebrations, Lainey Wilson is scheduled to perform on Saturday, October 10th, alongside headliners Alanis Morissette, Foo Fighters, John Mayer and DJ Cassidy's Pass The Mic Live!
