New York – – September 30, 2026 -- Daydream, the AI-powered fashion discovery app, has launched conversational search and a shoppable camera roll feature built on the newest capabilities in iOS 27.
Users can now ask Siri AI to shop Daydream's catalog without opening the app
iPhone owners can say something like "Siri, search Daydream for a cool blazer for my board meeting on Monday," and the request routes directly into Daydream's natural language shopping engine. The feature relies on the next generation of Apple Intelligence and the redesigned Siri AI included in iOS 27.
A new Fashion ID tool turns saved photos into instant shopping matches
Using Fashion ID, shoppers can tap any saved image — a street-style photo, an Instagram outfit, or a screenshot from a friend — and Daydream will surface shoppable matches and similar styles from its catalog of 3 million products. The tool draws on the image-context capabilities of Apple's Foundation Models in iOS 27.
Both features require specific hardware and software to work
Users need the Daydream app installed on an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence, running iOS 27 with Siri AI enabled. Daydream is free to download, and its Visual Intelligence capabilities are now also accessible through the Camera app and on iPad.
Daydream has grown to 1.5 million shoppers across 325 retailers
Since launch, the platform has expanded to more than 1.5 million shoppers browsing 3 million products from 325 retailers and 10,000 brands. The new iOS 27 integrations extend that catalog into native iPhone experiences, letting users shop the moment they spot something they like.
Julie Bornstein, Daydream's co-founder and CEO, said the goal is to eliminate the friction of tabs, apps and endless scrolling by letting shoppers search directly from a photo or ask Siri in plain language. She added that completing a Daydream "style passport" makes the results more personalized.
