Just Women's Sports Launches App, Buys Victra, Adds Two Channels

Los Angeles – October 13, 2026 -- Fans of women's sports can now follow live scores, schedules and stats in the new Just Women's Sports (JWS) mobile app, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

The app arrives alongside two other announcements: JWS has acquired Victra Sports, a women's sports technology company, and is debuting two sport-specific brands, Just Women's Hoops and Just Women's Football.

The app combines scores, stats and original coverage

The JWS app includes live scores, schedules, statistics, personalized accounts, push notifications, and JWS's original editorial and video coverage.

It runs on technology acquired through Victra Sports, which was founded by Haro Trenkler and Anna Malepeai. According to JWS, the app does more than aggregate information available elsewhere. It pairs JWS's own content and scoreboard with real-time statistics and analytics.

Founder and CEO Haley Rosen said the digital experience has not kept pace with the growth of the industry, even though more people than ever have access to the games.

Two new brands give basketball and soccer their own communities

Just Women's Hoops and Just Women's Football will each have their own editorial voice, programming and community focused exclusively on a single sport.

JWS contrasts this with legacy sports media companies, which it says have traditionally built women's sports verticals inside brands organized mainly around men's sports. Rosen said other platforms treat women's sports as a single bucket.

JWS reaches 115 million people a month

JWS says it reaches more than 115 million people each month across its digital and social platforms, with an owned audience of more than 6 million followers. It aims to onboard the next 10 million women's sports fans.

The launch follows a year of funding and league deals

Over the past year, JWS raised a new funding round and became an official Emerging Media Partner of the WNBA. It also deepened its longstanding partnership with the NWSL and teamed up with Monarch Commerce to revamp its merch store.
