SHERIDAN, WYOMING – October 12, 2024 – Chevrolet today announced that the 2025 Silverado EV will offer up to 492 miles of range on a full charge, setting a new standard as the range leader for electric trucks.
The 2025 Silverado EV will be available in three distinct trims: Work Truck (WT), LT, and RST. The WT trim is designed for commercial customers, while the LT and RST trims are aimed at retail customers.
"Truck customers tell us range is one of the main barriers to considering an EV. The 2024 Silverado EV already was the range leader, and for this new model year we've set the bar even higher," said Scott Bell, vice president, Chevrolet.
The Silverado EV WT and LT trims may qualify for the full $7,500 federal tax credit for eligible customers.
The Silverado EV LT trim offers a more affordable option for retail customers, with a starting MSRP of $75,195. The LT trim comes standard with 18-inch aluminum wheels, an illuminated front gold bowtie, a 17.7-inch-diagonal center infotainment screen, and 408 miles of range on a full charge.
The Silverado EV RST trim offers a more premium option for retail customers, with a starting MSRP of $89,395. The RST trim comes standard with 24-inch wheels, a unique lower front fascia, and 390 miles of range on a full charge.
Chevrolet expects to ship the 2025 Silverado EV WT, LT, and RST to customers before the end of the year.
