Audi Summer Concerts 2025: A Spectacular Fusion of Music, Light, and Innovation Awaits

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – June 30, 2025 – Music lovers have every reason to rejoice as the Audi Summer Concerts 2025 are set to return from June 21 to July 27, promising an unforgettable series of performances by world-renowned artists and rising stars. With tickets now available, this nationally popular festival invites families and classical music enthusiasts alike to experience a vibrant mix of concerts, workshops, and magical performances designed to inspire audiences of all ages.

A Grand Opening Like Never Before

The Audi Summer Concerts 2025 will kick off with an extraordinary event on June 21, showcasing the three winning compositions from the Audi Composers Competition. These pieces, inspired by the many facets of light, will come to life in collaboration with the Arcis Saxophone Quartet and the vocal ensemble LauschWerk. The performance takes place on the construction site of the new Museum of Concrete Art and Design Ingolstadt, offering a unique backdrop that merges music, movement, and space in an original Audi production.

Introducing the festival’s commitment, Xavier Ros, Member of the Board of Management for Human Resources and Organization at AUDI AG, stated: “The diverse program of the Audi Summer Concerts could not embody our engagement to culture and commitment to promoting young talent any better. With a unique mix of international stars and up-and-coming talent, we are creating a stage that brings generations together. I am particularly proud of the events for young people, which we are using to open doors to the world of classical music that might otherwise remain closed to them.”

Magical Concerts for Children and Families

Audi is bringing classical music to young hearts with special performances tailored for children and families:

  • On July 6, the Aurora Orchestra will present their own version of Camille Saint-Saëns’ “The Carnival of the Animals,” described as: “The spectacular parade with movement, stage design, and light playfully introduces young concertgoers to the world of the diverse sounds of orchestral instruments.”
  • The children’s concert “ADUI” by the Audi Philharmonic Wind Orchestra on July 12 will feature: “music-loving children will accompany superhero ‘ADUI’ on his mission to find the four missing Audi rings. The music runs as a common theme through the story. In this refreshingly innovative commissioned work by Austrian trombonist, composer, and arranger Siegmund Andraschek, the children in the audience don’t have to sit still the whole time but are actively involved in the action.”
  • The Salzburg Festival’s musical theater “Berge flüstern laut [‘Mountains whisper loudly’]” returns on July 26 with: “The play Berge flüstern laut [‘Mountains whisper loudly’] by director Elli Neubert is about the legends and myths of Salzburg. The young audience members are taken on a search for wondrous creatures and experience strange places and magical happenings.”

Additionally, Audi is organizing another workshop for schoolchildren from the region on July 5.

Innovative Crossovers and Star Performances

Continuing its tradition of genre-blending performances, the festival will welcome the Stockholm chamber orchestra O/Modernt on July 19. The announcement describes them as: “The ‘wild Swedes’ (Der Tagesspiegel) succeed in bridging the gap between baroque, classical, avant-garde, minimal, pop, rock, grunge, metal, and punk in a truly breathtaking way.” Together with British violinist Hugo Ticciati, they will present their concert “Crossing over the Atlantic” at the Audi museum mobile, where “music by composer Benjamin Britten intersects with hits by Radiohead, Sting, and Pink Floyd.”

For classical music fans, Anne-Sophie Mutter will perform with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on July 10 in the Festsaal of the Stadttheater, featuring: “the second violin concerto composed for her by film composer John Williams. The works of the five-time Oscar winner are not only heard in concert halls; his music is also closely associated with cinema classics such as Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Harry Potter. The program includes the film music ‘Hedwig’s Theme’ from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.”

The festival will close with a captivating performance by Martynas Levickis on July 27, described as: “The young star from Lithuania is internationally acclaimed for his virtuosity and versatility and conjures up sounds from his instrument that are as surprising as they are fascinating. In Ingolstadt, he will perform his own arrangement of George Bizet’s ‘Carmen Suite.’”
