SHERIDAN, WYOMING – Jan. 13, 2025 – For the first time in the 136-year history of the Rose Parade®, a fully electric fleet will escort the floats, and Honda is leading the charge. The company's "Electrified Dreams" float, a symbol of Honda's commitment to sustainability, will be accompanied by an all-electric procession including the Honda Prologue SUV, the Acura ZDX Type S performance SUV, and a fleet of Honda Motocompacto e-scooters.

"Electrified Dreams" Symbolizes a Sustainable Future

The "Electrified Dreams" float is a visual spectacle that blends organic and man-made materials, incorporating LED lights and roses to represent the delicate balance of our ecosystem. This design underscores Honda's dedication to environmental preservation and achieving zero emissions for all mobility products and business operations by 2050.

Jennifer Symington, assistant vice president of Marketing for American Honda, emphasized the company's commitment to sustainability, stating, "The Rose Parade is an annual opportunity for Honda to celebrate The Power of Dreams and, this year, the power of 'electrified dreams' that reflect our commitment to sustainable mobility. We hope to inspire everyone watching the Rose Parade that with our Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX, and the Honda Motocompacto e-scooter, the electrified future will help us achieve carbon neutrality, and deliver a whole lot of fun!"
