SHERIDAN, WYOMING – July 24, 2025 – Where gourmet cuisine meets cutting-edge mobility, the result is a one-of-a-kind sensory experience — and that’s exactly what unfolded yesterday as the Kia Kitchen Experience Tour 2025 launched in Cologne. The E-Werk venue was transformed into a vibrant showcase of flavor, innovation, and future-ready electric driving, led by Michelin-starred chef and Kia brand ambassador Sarah Henke.
A fusion of flavor, heritage, and design
At the heart of the event was Sarah Henke’s bold culinary vision, artfully blending her Korean roots with European influences — a delicious parallel to Kia’s design philosophy, “Opposites United.” In her own words: “I’m fascinated by how Kia unites opposites: tradition and innovation, movement and balance, clarity and emotion. That’s exactly what I show in my dishes – not seeing contrasts as contradictions but as creative inspiration.”
Guests were treated to an unforgettable afternoon hosted by Elena Meer and Tim Bruchhaus. From a dynamic live cooking session to an interactive dessert workshop, the event offered a full taste of Henke’s signature style while spotlighting the next generation of Kia’s electric vehicles.
Debut of the Kia EV4 and EV5 electrifies the crowd
Two all-electric models took center stage: the sleek, sporty Kia EV4 compact and the spacious, rugged Kia EV5 SUV. Both vehicles impressed with their progressive design and standout range capabilities:
- Kia EV4: Up to 625 kilometers of range with the 81.4-kWh battery
- Kia EV5: Up to 530 kilometers of range with the same high-capacity battery
These next-gen models are set to arrive at Kia dealerships across Germany later this year, promising sustainable driving without compromise.
From kitchen to coast: a tour with a purpose
The Kia Kitchen Experience Tour 2025 – inspired by Sarah Henke – continues across Germany, combining high-end cuisine with hands-on EV previews in seven additional cities from August through October. The tour also supports the MBRC Foundation, a global organization committed to clean oceans and coastal protection, with proceeds going toward its conservation efforts.
