LAS VEGAS – November 02, 2026 -- Royal Purple is replacing a range of legacy passenger car motor oils with a three-tier Performance Line, and the new bottles reach retail in January 2027.
The brand will show the lineup when AAPEX 2026 opens. It covers everything from the daily commute to the race track.
High Performance covers daily drivers and family vehicles
The entry tier is aimed at commuters, daily drivers, and family vehicles. It is designed to prevent deposits and sludge, preserve engine performance, and protect against wear. Royal Purple says it carries forward the formulation customers already use, with a new name and look.
Ultimate High Performance adds Synerlec additive technology
The middle tier is built for global compatibility across new and high-mileage gasoline engines and light-duty diesels. It uses the brand's proprietary Synerlec additive technology, which Royal Purple describes as designed for modern engines and emissions systems. The oil is meant to remove engine sludge and deposits, reduce wear, and provide long-term protection.
Extreme Performance Racing pairs Synerlec with extra ZDDP
The top tier is made for competition and high-stress engine builds. It combines a reformulated version of Synerlec with elevated levels of ZDDP, an anti-wear additive, to protect engines under the most punishing conditions.
"Three clear tiers take the guesswork out of it," said Lesley Reed, Senior Sales Director, Consumer Sales, at Royal Purple.
Visitors can see the lineup at booth V3861 from Nov. 3-5
Royal Purple will show all three tiers at booth V3861 in the Venetian Expo and AAPEX Forum from Nov. 3 to 5, 2026. The team will walk retailers, distributors, installers, and media through the lineup, the packaging, and the January retail rollout. Media interviews and product briefings are available at the show by appointment.
The Performance Line will be sold at retail and through distribution partners beginning January 2027.
