Frankfurt a/M will host the global largest e-bike event in mid-July. It is expected, that many visitors will use electric bicycles on their way to the show. For the first time at Eurobike, they will not need to care about the battery capacity for the route back home.
In the central bicycle parking for Eurobike Expo at Portalhaus will be installed a charging hub capable to serve 80 e-bikes at once. Probably the largest implementation of it kind so far. Charging technology is delivered by Powerbox.one - the charging infrastructure start-up firm from Prague/Czechia.
E-bike owners don´t need to carry their home charger, may they have a battery with a suitable charging connector. Eight most common types of charging cables will be available at the parking spot (for details follow this link). For e-bikers who will carry their own home charger, Powerbox protected 230V socket can be used and the charger locked into the box.
Trained staff will help users to plug the bikes and lock them to a professional bicycle stand. Further questions on out-of-home charging standards will be happily answered at Powerbox stand in the Start-up zone - Hall 8 (stand A50).
