2027 Toyota Camry: Hybrid-Only, 51 MPG, From $29,700

Plano, Texas – October 13, 2026 -- The 2027 Toyota Camry starts at $29,700 (excluding Dealer Processing and Handling) and arrives at dealerships this fall, with every model powered by a hybrid system and the LE FWD carrying a manufacturer-estimated 51 MPG combined rating.

Five grades share one hybrid powertrain

The Camry is available in LE, SE, Nightshade, XLE and XSE grades. All pair the fifth-generation Toyota Hybrid System (THS 5) with a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine. Output is 225 net-combined horsepower on front-wheel-drive models and 232 on all-wheel-drive versions. An electronically controlled CVT handles gear ratios.

Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive is offered on all five grades. It uses an electric motor generator on the rear axle and can send more torque to the rear wheels when it detects slippery roads or lost tire grip.

Thomas Annunziata Wins ARCA Title in His Toyota Camry

Kansas City – October 11, 2026 -- Thomas Annunziata, 21, clinched his first ARCA Menards Series championship with a fifth-place finish at Kansas Speedway, driving the No. 70 Toyota Camry. It is also the first ARCA title for his team, Nitro Motorsports.

A rookie full-time season ends with a title

The New Jersey native made his full-time ARCA debut in 2026. Across the season's 20 races, he scored one win, at Lime Rock Park in June, along with 11 top-five and 18 top-10 finishes. His average finishing position was seventh.

The title is Toyota's second in four years and third in the last six. It follows Jesse Love in 2023 and Ty Gibbs in 2021.

Teammates made the title fight tight

Paul Doleshal, general manager of sponsorships and motorsports at Toyota Motor North America, said the championship was "very competitive" among the Nitro Motorsports teammates. He said Annunziata coming out on top showed both talent and determination.
