Woonsocket – September 08, 2026 -- Updated 2026-2027 COVID-19 vaccines are now available at CVS Pharmacy and MinuteClinic locations nationwide, offered at no cost for patients with most insurance plans.
Appointments can be booked through CVS.com, MinuteClinic.com or the CVS Health app, and walk-ins are accepted at both CVS Pharmacy and MinuteClinic locations. Vaccination slots are open seven days a week, including evenings and weekends.
Families can book up to four appointments together
Patients can schedule vaccinations for up to four people at the same time, allowing families and caregivers to get immunized in a single visit. Eligible patients can also receive other recommended vaccines during the same appointment, including flu and RSV shots along with routine immunizations.
Age and state eligibility rules vary by location
CVS Pharmacy administers COVID-19 vaccines to eligible patients based on state regulations, while MinuteClinic vaccinates patients starting at 18 months of age. CVS says it is actively monitoring vaccination requirements in Arizona, Louisiana and Oregon, and advises patients to check CVS.com, MinuteClinic.com or the CVS Health app for updated availability in those states.

Cost depends on insurance status
The updated vaccine is free through most insurance plans. For uninsured patients, pricing varies by product type and eligibility. Pharmacists and MinuteClinic providers are available on-site to help patients decide which vaccinations suit their individual health needs.
