HUNTLEY, ILLINOIS -- August 28, 2026 -- Freedom Home Care cut the ribbon on its first office outside Chicago's North Shore suburbs on August 13, opening a location at 12151 Regency Parkway, Suite 12169, in Huntley. The new address extends the company's private-pay home care services into McHenry and Kane counties for the first time. Freedom Home Care, a member of the PurposeCare family of companies, has operated in the North Shore for more than 28 years. The Huntley office now offers personal home care, outpatient services, transportation help, and post-surgery assistance to families in Huntley, Algonquin, and nearby suburbs.

Sarah Moore Wants Huntley Office To Be A Community Hub

Operations Manager Sarah Moore said the ribbon-cutting marked the start of a broader role for the office in the local community. She described plans built on education, connection, and partnership with professionals and families who support older adults in the area. "We want to be a resource for the community," Moore said.

McHenry and Kane counties now have a Freedom Home Care address.

Living With Freedom Series Opens With Aromatherapy Session

The office launched its first community program, Living With Freedom, on Friday, August 28, with an Aromatherapy and Healthy Aging session from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Participants took part in an interactive aromatherapy experience and made a custom scented lotion to take home. Meaningful Mondays, a recurring networking and education series for local professionals, starts in September 2026.
