Nassau – September 15, 2026 -- Resort packages are now on sale for the seventh annual Baha Mar Tennis Cup, a four-day charity event running Thursday, December 10 through Sunday, December 13, 2026, in The Bahamas.
Tennis legends John McEnroe and Mark Knowles host the fundraiser again this year.
The event supports the Baha Mar Resort Foundation and the Mark Knowles Children's Tennis Initiative. Eight celebrities will pair with eight tennis professionals for the Celebrity Pro-Am, a format that debuted in 2025. Past participants have included Tommy Paul, Coco Gauff, Andy Roddick, Victoria Azarenka, and Milos Raonic, among others. The 2026 professional and celebrity lineup will be announced in the coming months.
The 2025 edition raised over $300,000 for Bahamian youth tennis programs.
Those funds have gone toward training primary school teachers to introduce tennis in classrooms and expanding junior programs across the islands. Graeme Davis, President of Baha Mar, said the Tennis Cup has become a signature event that blends competition with philanthropic impact.
The four-day schedule mixes clinics, culinary events, and exhibition matches.
Thursday opens with three afternoon clinics and a welcome reception at Rosewood Baha Mar featuring live music from the Johnny Smyth Band. Friday includes the Pro-Am Tournament, Lunch on the Lawn, a pro exhibition, and the Taste of Baha Mar culinary event. Saturday brings the Celebrity Pro-Am, a performance at Jon Batiste's Jazz Club, and the Baha Mar Foundation Dinner. Sunday closes with a complimentary Kids Clinic offering local youth drills and guidance from visiting professionals.
Three- and four-night resort packages are available at two on-site hotels.
Packages at Rosewood Baha Mar and Grand Hyatt Baha Mar include accommodations, VIP airport transfers, tennis clinic access, VIP seating for the Pro Exhibition and Celebrity Pro-Am, and admission to the welcome reception, Foundation Dinner, and after-party mixer. Pro-Am packages add tournament participation and extra VIP seats for marquee matches.
The John McEnroe Tennis Center anchors the resort's tennis facilities.
The center includes six hard courts, two Har-Tru clay courts, six pickleball courts, and two padel courts, alongside a full-service pro shop and year-round programming for all skill levels.
