Electrolit Signs Street Football Star Jack Downer as Brand Athlete

Houston – September 18, 2026 -- Electrolit, the hydration beverage brand, has signed street football performer Jack Downer, known online as Street Panna, as its newest athlete partner.

Downer specializes in panna, a one-on-one street football format where a successful nutmeg can instantly end a match. He built a global following by turning quick, high-skill moves into viral content.

Downer switched from traditional football to street play after an injury

Downer originally played traditional 11-a-side football before an injury pushed him toward street football, a format built on creativity, control, and instinct. He has since become a proven competitor, earning two top finishes at the Superball Panna World Championships and building a reputation as one of the most respected players in the discipline.

Downer says his sport leaves no room for dehydration

"Becoming an Electrolit athlete just made sense for me because everything I do in my game is high-intensity and nonstop," Downer said. "In panna, you're constantly reacting, changing direction, making split-second decisions. There's no time to lose focus or feel the effects of dehydration." He added that Electrolit's formula is designed to replace what the body loses during intense physical exertion, not just provide general hydration.

Electrolit's formula centers on five electrolytes

The beverage combines electrolytes and glucose for what the brand calls Instant Hydration. Its formulation includes five ions -- magnesium, sodium, potassium, calcium, and chloride -- intended to support rehydration after intense activity, long days, or high-energy environments.

The partnership extends into content and community events

Through the deal, Downer will work with Electrolit across content creation, events, and community-driven initiatives tied to the growing global street football and skill-based play movement. Electrolit, founded in Mexico in 1950, is sold nationwide through retailers including Walmart, Kroger, Jewel-Osco, and 7-Eleven.
