PRESTIGE Unveils the M8 EVO: A Reimagined Flagship That Takes Luxury Yachting to New Heights

SHERIDAN, WYOMING -- May 31, 2025 -- French yacht manufacturer PRESTIGE has revealed the M8 EVO, a sweeping evolution of its M8 flagship multihull motor yacht, and for anyone who has ever dreamed of life on the water, this new model is genuinely worth paying attention to. Built on direct feedback from M8 owners who have sailed everywhere from the Bahamas to Asia and the Côte d'Azur to the Caribbean, the M8 EVO refines virtually every aspect of the original concept — from a bolder exterior silhouette to dramatically reimagined interior living spaces. The yacht is set to make its world premiere at the 2026 Cannes Boat Show, with advance preview events already scheduled for those who want an early look.

A Flagship with a Story Behind It

The M8 EVO doesn't arrive out of nowhere. It is the latest chapter in PRESTIGE's M-Line, a family of multihull motor yachts that began with the M48 and has since grown to include the M8 and the M7. The defining promise of the M-Line has always been a rare combination of space, stability, and genuine comfort at sea — qualities that are notoriously difficult to achieve together in a motor yacht of this type. What makes the M8 EVO particularly compelling is that its upgrades were shaped by real-world experience, not just design ambition.

"This evolution of our M-Line flagship, the M8, has been shaped by two forces: feedback from our owners – as the M8 has sailed all around the world, from the Bahamas to Asia, from the Côte d'Azur to the Caribbean – and a symbiotic relationship between French industrial savoir-faire and innovative Italian design, which, together, are expanding the boundaries of naval architecture and design."

That collaborative spirit between French craftsmanship and Italian creative vision is evident throughout the new model, and it gives the M8 EVO a character that feels both rooted and forward-looking.

A Silhouette That Commands Attention

The first thing you notice about the M8 EVO is how it looks on the water. The exterior has been thoroughly updated, with redesigned hull windows, a fashion plate now finished in black, and a completely new hard top that gives the yacht a more assertive, contemporary profile.

"The M8 EVO's new exterior is instantly assertive: redesigned windows in the hull, a fashion plate, now in a black finish, and an entirely new hard top, creating a profile that is, at once, more elegant and more assertive."

Beyond aesthetics, these changes have had a practical payoff. Eliminating the interior staircase to the flybridge and introducing the new hard top structure has freed up meaningful space on the upper deck, resulting in a fully equipped outdoor galley, a generous dining area, and a modular saloon — making the flybridge a genuine outdoor living room rather than just a helm platform.

Interior Living, Completely Rethought

Step inside the M8 EVO and the evolution becomes even more apparent. The removal of the interior staircase opens up the saloon in ways that weren't previously possible, and PRESTIGE has made the most of that newfound space. A larger central dining table now sits at the heart of the saloon, surrounded by wide panoramic windows that keep the sea constantly in view. The galley has been expanded, and a new raised dining area near the helm station naturally separates the owner and guest experience from crew operations.

The owner's cabin has received particular attention. Already a full-beam suite, it has been redesigned as a genuine private apartment afloat, with generous headroom, twin walk-in closets, an office, a lounge area, and a spacious, privacy-focused bathroom. It is the kind of space that makes extended cruising feel less like a voyage and more like a lifestyle.

Design Inspired by Art Deco and Modern Minimalism

The aesthetic direction of the M8 EVO is one of its most distinctive qualities. Interior designer Valentina Motta describes an approach that draws on modernist design while reinterpreting the geometric glamour of Art Deco through a contemporary, refined lens.

"The interior design has evolved toward a softer, warmer atmosphere — inspired by modernist design and reinterpreted through a contemporary reading of the glamour and geometric elegance of Art Deco, blending modern sensibilities with a refined minimalism."

Materials are chosen with an almost architectural intent, with textures and colors working together to define and differentiate each living space. The result is an interior that feels warm and welcoming without sacrificing sophistication — and crucially, it remains highly customizable, so owners can make it their own.

Where and When to See It First

The M8 EVO's world premiere is set for the 2026 Cannes Boat Show, but PRESTIGE is offering a select number of advance experiences before then. Private sea trials were scheduled at PRESTIGE Exclusive Days in Monfalcone, Italy on June 19th and 20th, and in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, France from August 27th to 29th. These events have already been announced as invitation-only opportunities to discover the new flagship alongside the PRESTIGE team.

Why the M8 EVO Matters for Yacht Enthusiasts
  • It is built on genuine owner feedback from global cruising, not just design-studio idealism
  • The elimination of the interior flybridge staircase transforms both the saloon and upper deck usability
  • The Art Deco–influenced interior sets it apart visually from most motor yachts in this segment
  • The full-beam owner's suite has been elevated to a private apartment standard
  • Preview access is available ahead of the official world premiere at Cannes 2026
