This dynamic duo, with a history of shared victories in rally racing's golden era, renewed their collaboration for the 2025 Rally program, introducing the purpose-built Ypsilon Rally4 HF.

Ypsilon Rally4 HF: A Fusion of Power and Technology

The Ypsilon Rally4 HF emerged as a testament to Lancia's rally car legacy, seamlessly blending cutting-edge technology with exhilarating performance.  Built on a CMP MHEV platform, it offered a unique combination of lightweight agility and robust structural rigidity.  Enhancing safety, the car featured a welded tubular safety cage, ensuring a high-performance, secure chassis that met the stringent FIA standards.

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – November 3, 2024 – Audi Sport customer racing proudly announced that its three customer racing models, the Audi R8 LMS GT3, the Audi R8 LMS GT4, and the Audi RS 3 LMS, all achieved international success in October.    

The Audi R8 LMS GT3 won the GT America powered by AWS racing series with driver Johnny O'Connell.  O'Connell, a former professional driver, turned a deficit of 18 points into a narrow lead in the final race of the season.  This marked the 121st time since 2009 that a racing driver secured a championship victory in an Audi R8 LMS.    

The Audi R8 LMS GT4 continued its streak of success in the Championnat de France FFSA GT, winning its seventh title since 2018.  The customer team CSA Racing prevailed in the Pro-Am category for the first time this season, with drivers Gaël Castelli and Rodolphe Wallgren scoring points in each of the twelve races.

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – October 29, 2024 – SHERIDAN, WYOMING – October 29, 2024 – Thanks to a perfectly executed race strategy and an excellent performance by the six drivers, the PEUGEOT 9X8 2024 secured 4th and 8th places at the 6 Hours of Fuji.

Starting from 14th position, the PEUGEOT 9X8 #93 finished 4th, just 3.525 seconds away from the podium. The #94 also gained ten places in the standings to finish 8th.

After a tough race in Austin and a lack of pace in qualifying at the Fuji Speedway, Team Peugeot TotalEnergies managed to turn things around, bringing both PEUGEOT 9X8 2024 cars into the top ten and achieving their best result of the season in front of 65,800 fans.

The team is determined to bounce back and secure a strong finish at the Fuji International Speedway, a track known for its unique characteristics and unpredictable weather.

"The Fuji Speedway is a diverse racetrack, with a long 1,475-meter start-finish straight and some tight corners in the infield," explains Olivier Jansonnie, Peugeot Sport Technical Director. "Achieving the right balance between top speed and aerodynamic downforce is always a challenge on this circuit, which features 16 corners—10 right-handers and 6 left-handers. Additionally, we have to consider the unpredictable weather at this time of year on Japan's main island, Honshu."

A Familiar Battleground

The victory was secured by the JLOC team's VENTENY Lamborghini GT3, driven by Takashi Kogure and Yuya Motojima, relying on the exceptional performance of Yokohama's global flagship ADVAN tires.

Round 7, held at the AUTOPOLIS Circuit in Oita Prefecture on October 19-20, was a challenging race due to adverse weather conditions that forced qualifying and final races to be held on the same day, Sunday, October 20th. Despite starting from 15th position after the qualifying race, Kogure and Motojima executed a remarkable comeback to secure their second win of the season.

But that's not all – Lancia is also introducing the Trofeo Lancia Rally, a thrilling competition where drivers will compete for a significant prize pool and the chance to race with the official Lancia Corse HF team in 2026.

Starting today, the new Ypsilon Rally 4 HF is available for order through the Stellantis Motorsport Racing Shop, priced at €74,500.

The Ypsilon Rally4 HF, designed for competition, and the high-performance, 100% electric Ypsilon HF embody Lancia’s sporting and innovative vision. Both models will be available starting in 2025.

Lancia marks its official return to rallying with a special test at the Stellantis Proving Ground in Balocco. Tavares tested the new Ypsilon Rally4 HF on one of the most prestigious automotive development circuits. Located in the Vercelli province, the Balocco complex spans over 80 kilometers of tracks and represents an excellence center for high-performance testing.
